span of a week, the weather here in southern California (sorry I keep talking about the weather, I’m so stereotypically Californian :/) went from 90 degrees to a week of straight showers. What is going on!?
I have no idea, but I’m soo ready for those looooong summer days! I can’t wait.
Once the days start warming up, my go-to breakfasts are smoothies!
Strawberry Mango Smoothie – a quick healthy mango, strawberry and banana smoothie made with only 4 ingredients!
I LOVE fruit and orange juice and apple juice are my favorite for smoothies. If you use all natural fruit juices, it adds a natural sweetness which cuts out the need for any other sweeteners or sugar!
This 3 fruit combo of strawberries, mangoes, and bananas is delish! I don’t often remember to freeze my bananas so I need frozen fruits to make up for that. I like the ease + double duty of using frozen fruits because they’re always ready to go in your freezer plus they double as the “ice” to make the smoothie creamy and thick, without watering it down!
- 1 cup frozen strawberries
- 1 large banana
- 1 cup mango, diced
- 1 cup orange juice
- (optional) Stevia or other sweetener of choice
Put all the ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth. Enjoy!!
