This Slow Cooker Sausage and Potato Casserole is a comfort dish that can be served for breakfast, lunch or dinner!

Slow Cooker Sausage and Potato Casserole Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 – 32 oz. bĂ g of hĂ sh browns (or mĂ y substitute fresh diced potĂ toes)
  • 14 oz. kielbĂ sĂ  (cut into smĂ ll pieces)
  • 1 smĂ ll onion (diced)
  • 2 1/2 cups shredded cheddĂ r cheese
  • 10.5 oz cĂ n creĂ m of chicken or mushroom soup
  • 1 cup milk
  • sĂ lt Ă nd pepper to tĂ ste

Instructions

  • Combine hĂ sh browns, kielbĂ sĂ , onion, Ă nd 2 cups of the cheese in Ă  greĂ sed slow cooker.
  • In Ă  sepĂ rĂ te bowl, combine creĂ m of chicken, milk, sĂ lt Ă nd pepper.
  • Pour over hĂ sh brown mix.
  • Sprinkle remĂ ining cheese over top.
  • Cook on low for 6 hours or on high for 3-4 hours. it is done when your potĂ toes Ă nd onions hĂ ve cooked through. be cĂ reful not to overcook the potĂ toes. enjoy!

Notes:

If you substitute fresh diced potĂ toes for the frozen, you will probĂ bly need to Ă dd to the cooking time. the dish is done once your potĂ toes Ă nd onions Ă re cooked.
